Case Study:

In early 2004 a 45-year-old physician from Barnegat, New Jersey was interested in retiring his contacts by having Laser Vision Correction (LASIK).  He researched the Internet and also had heard of Dr. Almallah recommended by other physicians in the area and decided to have an evaluation.  He presented to Dr. Almallah with bilateral myopic astigmatism OD –3.75 +1.00 X 014 and OS –4.00 +1.00 X 167.   His pachymetry (Corneal thickness) for the right eye was 569 and 570 for the left eye.  The patient complained of blurry vision OU (both eyes) and poor night vision OU.
